I’m a writer with a deep-seated fascination for design. After earning my Bachelor of Architecture at Bond University, I cut my teeth at some of Australia’s most revered architecture practices before realising that my truest medium was the written word.

My trajectory began at a leading architecture and design publication in the Asia–Pacific region. Contributing regularly to Habitus, I interviewed lauded architects, designers and artists – drawing out the philosophies and peculiarities that fuel their craft. Currently, I work across House & Garden Australia, contributing to digital storytelling across editorial and social media. Beyond editorial writing, I have conceived copy and taken on art direction – both in-house and for a select roster of brands – helping studios shape their visual and verbal identities.

Additionally, I pen two regularly scheduled newsletters on Substack. The former, Mark My Words, is a repository for my latest musings, observations, and unsolicited opinions. The latter, Nuovo Lusso, chronicles great design in all its forms.
